LIFE across from DEATH
Who will be swallowed by death in the next moment will be known only after the action takes place. Every day, from February 24, 2022, people in Ukraine across from death, often staring it in the eyes. Women and children in the occupied areas have been brutally mutilated, subjected to violence in various forms, raped, killed, and their bodies burned. Some who survived will forever hide their faces from cameras and never want to speak of what they saw and felt. Broken and mutilated souls are forced to bear the horrific burden of reality until their last breath and sometimes life seems worse than death.
The power of the image is able to draw the attention of many people to the understanding of the horrors of the tragedies of war, thereby encouraging empathy for the victims and aversion to violence, making necessary conclusions that have the potential to affirm important moral principles and values without which peace is impossible.

This complex psychological project is a very personal expression of my regret and sympathy for those who have suffered untold suffering. Since I live and create in Ukraine without leaving the country since the beginning of the war, I know firsthand what war is like. Thus, in an artistic way, I tell the truth about what is happening here.
